2nd (National Communications) Signal Brigade

2nd Signal Brigade was an operational Brigade of the Royal Corps of Signals with a regular HQ, 1 regular regiment, and a number of Territorial Army signal regiments.
==History==
The brigade was established as 2nd Signal Group (Static Communications Network) in 1968; it became 2nd Signal Brigade in 1982 and, after being deployed during the Gulf War in 1990, became 2nd (National Communications) Signal Brigade in 1992.
Following successive cuts by the Ministry of Defence, the number of TA signal regiments was reduced over several years.
